“I would like to take this time to share with you my experience with Above the Rest Patio Rooms & Patio Covers, Inc. My wife and I had been considering installing a patio cover in our backyard for quite a while. I had called several contractors and, in fact, had one scheduled to come to the house to give us an estimate. Per chance, my wife was talking to one of her friends at work and mentioned what we were doing. This individual took a moment and said “you and your husband should call this company called Above the Rest Patio Rooms.” So I did and had Tracy and James (owners of Above the Rest Patio Rooms & Patio Covers, Inc.) come out and give us an estimate.

Let me tell you, the minute these two young people come into your home, I believe you will be smiling with their enthusiasm and joy for what they do. My first impression of these two young people was so positive, I knew I was going to have them do our work almost immediately and I am not the type to rush too quickly into decisions of this type.

Tracy and James measured the area my wife and I wanted covered then sat down and shared the different options we had along with some pictures of their work. After deciding what we would like, these folks gave us an estimate, which I was very pleased with. I half assumed I would spend more than what their estimate was. Then Tracy and James walked me through the steps they would take to complete the project. This started with their handling al of the paperwork with the City of Tracy to pull the permit and included when the material would be available and gave us a tentative start and completion. I was not used to this type of efficiency. Best of all, they met every target date they gave us and had the work done exactly when they said they would. As you can tell, I am very enthusiastic about these folks. I think you will be, as well. By the way, their work was stellar.

If you are considering a patio cover or patio room, you really should consider having these folks give you an estimate. It was the best decision I made.”

James & Tracy,

When my wife and I decided to add an enclosed sunroom onto our home we interviewed five well-established contractors for the project.  We subsequently narrowed the field down to the two who were most helpful to us in defining our requirements.  After examination of completed sunrooms to assure ourselves of workmanship quality we decided to contract with Above the Rest Patio. 

Our final decision was largely influenced by the fact that Tracy & James alone offered to accept complete responsibility for the entire project.  Other contractors insisted on breaking our project into two or more separate contracts: cement work, electrical wiring, aluminum roofing shingles, painting, flooring, and actual room construction.  By committing to complete all the diverse elements of the project Tracy & James made our job much less worrisome.  They demonstrated that they possess sound expertise in all of the construction disciplines involved in our project, and the end result met or exceeded our expectations in all regards.  To top it off, this duo is a pleasure to work with!
